Our
Privacy Policy
Pathfinder Metrics is committed to protecting the privacy of its
clients and prospective clients. The purpose of our privacy policy
is to advise you regarding what kinds of information we may gather
about you when you visit our website, how we may use that information,
whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding
our use of, and your ability to correct, the information. This policy
applies only to the Pathfinder Metrics website, and not to other
websites to which we link.
Our
Internet Service Provider automatically gathers certain website
usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors.
We only use such data in the aggregate. This collective data helps
us determine how our customers use various parts of our site. Our
intention is to make it more useful, so over time we amend the site
in light of user preferences. To accomplish this objective we may
use tools such as "cookies." They report how and when
pages in our site are visited, and by how many people. We also may
develop statistical information about how our visitors (in the aggregate)
use our website.
We do this so we can understand how people use our site.
Sometimes,
we may specifically ask for information about you when you sign
up to use services we offer from time to time. We will need certain
information - such as name, Internet address or username, billing
address, type of computer, and credit card number in order to provide
that services and/or products to you. We may also use that information
to let you know of additional products and services about which
you might be interested. We may ask you for information about your
interests as they relate to our services. You may choose to respond
or not.
We
do not use or disclose information about your individual visits
or information that you may give us, such as your name, address,
email address or telephone number, to any outside companies.
It
is our policy not to use or share the personal information about
any subscriber or visitor to the Website in ways unrelated to the
ones described above without also providing the opportunity to opt
out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. However, we may disclose
personal information about visitors or subscribers, or information
regarding your use of our website or related services if, in our
reasonable judgment, it is prudent to do so, including: to satisfy
laws, such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, regulations,
or governmental or legal requests for such information; to disclose
information if this is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal
action against someone who may be violating the law; to operate
our website and our services; or to protect our assets and business
interests.
If we decide to amend our privacy policy, we will post the amendments
here. Our intention is to keep you fully informed as to what information
we may gather and how we may use it or disclose it.
